Trampoline & Tumbling


This program is designed for both boys and girls ages 6 and older.  Competitive Tumblers will learn routines using USAG Trampoline & Tumbling guidelines and mastering key skills. Recreational Tumblers will focus on mastering key skills. This program was developed with the belief that all athletes, regardless of their potential, must have a solid foundation of basic skills in order to advance safely.

 

Beginner Trampoline, Tumbling, and Double Mini - Level 1-4

Key skills:
Trampoline:  tuck jump, pike jump, straddle jump, seat drop, hand and knees drop, front drop, jump ½ twist, ½ twist to seat drop,

                   back drop, back drop pullover to stomach and ¾ front somersault to back.
Tumbling:     front roll tuck, front roll pike, jump ½ turn, back roll tuck, cartwheel, round off, power round off and handstand roll down step out.
Double Mini: tuck jump, straddle jump, pike jump, ½ twist and backwards tuck jump.

 

Intermediate and Advanced Trampoline, Tumbling, and Double Mini - Level 5-9

Tumblers must have comfortably mastered their round off back handspring to participate in this program.

Key skills:
Trampoline:  back somersault tuck, pike and straight, jump full twist, 1\2 twist to front drop (airplane), front somersault tuck,

                   pike and straight, barani tuck, pike and straight, ¾ back somersault tuck, 1\2 turn to stomach (cruise) and ball out.
Tumbling:     round off back handspring, back somersault tuck, pike and straight and whip back.
Double Mini: front somersault tuck, pike and straight, back somersault tuck, pike and straight ,barani tuck and pike.
